The European Union and EU countries are the largest donor of humanitarian aid in the world. The EU funds about 36% of global humanitarian assistance.
We will strengthen the EU’s global humanitarian aid by:
🔹 Building a new European Humanitarian Response Capacity
🔹 Championing respect for International humanitarian law
🔹 Addressing root causes by bringing together humanitarian relief, development and peace building.
